Prep for painting (d82)

I usually do the routine check on the house each day. Once in the morning, on the way to work, and again on the way home. As I came by at about 6pm, the tiler was still there finishing off the grouting to the floor tiles. We warned me that some were still wet. He's laid out the wall tiles, but still yet to do the bath tub. It was great to see the ceasarstone fitted. And we actually got the colour we wanted, the original one we specified was not our prefered type, because it would cost us extra. I think the selection we choose is discontinued.

Actually there have been several things discontinuted since we first signed up 18months ago. Bricks were no longer available, the gas stove top and oven were also discontinued. They have given us the latest model, but bricks we had to reselect.

The painters came for part day to prep the house for painting. Mostly filling nail holes. They will be back to sand back, before painting.

Walk in Robe shelves.

We went with the standard shelve, not cupboards or drawers. I'm quite happy with this. I wasn't expecting much.
Pantry shelves.
If you look closely you can see sealant about the soffit panels and timber. The painters have done this for sealing while they paint.

Great view of the french doors. We are going to landscape this into a courtyard for me and the missus. Maybe put an outdoor spa for the romantic nights.

The last bit of the eaves went in an completes the portico.
